- Motion Activated Light After Sunset -

Provide lighting

when motion is

detected after

sunset.

When motion is detected after sunset, the system will turn on a light and turn it off after a

programmed countdown time. If motion is detected again within the countdown time then the

light will remain on and the countdown will restart.

1) When motion is detected Zone 1 will be activated and the system will speak Motion De-

tected.

2) At sunset the X-10 Sundowner Mini Controller will send the X-10 output signal A4 ON

which will enable Control Channel 33. At sunrise the X-10 output signal A4 OFF will be

sent disabling Control Channel 33.

3) The X-10 light (Control Channel 33) is linked to Zone 1 and if it is sunset will turn on when-

ever Zone 1 is activated and remain on until the programmed countdown time has expired.

If Zone 1 is activated again within the countdown time the light will remain on and the count-

down will restart.

4) At sunrise Control Channel 34 will send the X-10 output signal A1 OFF. This will

ensure that the X-10 light turns off because if the light is turned on and the countdown

time has not expired at sunrise then the light would remain on. Control Channel 33 is

disabled at sunrise and will not send the A1 OFF signal to turn off the light after the

countdown time has expired.
