¨ Apex Relay Expansion Module, EXP8

- Sequenced Sprinkler Control -

Provide sequenced

on and off control for

multiple sprinkler

valves.

Pressing the keypad F1 button will activate a Chain Channel that will cause sprinkler

valve 1 to turn on for 15 minutes (programmable) and then turn off. At this time, sprinkler

valve 2 will turn on for 15 minutes and then turn off. Then sprinkler valve 3, sprinkler valve

4, etc. will repeat the on/off cycle.

1) Press F1 to activate Chain Channel 5.

2) Chain Channel sequence activates all relays starting with Relay 1 for 15 minutes, Relay 2

for 30 minutes, etc.

3) Relay 1 switches power to NO to activiate valve 1, thus breaking power to following

relays / valves.

4) Relay 1 is restored after 15 minutes reconnecting power to relay 2 for the remainder of

its countdown time (15 minutes).

5) Relay 2 then restores to energize Relay 3 for the remainder of its countdown time (15

minutes).

Note: This sequence passes power when relays restore to

normally closed (NC) via the jumpers.
