- Doorbell Chime with Greeting Message -

When the doorbell is

pressed, it will give its

normal chime followed by

a greeting message.

When someone presses the doorbell the normal doorbell chime will sound followed by a

greeting message over the internal speakers and/or keypad speakers.

1) Zone 1 (door bell) activates sending an ON command to activate Control Channel 1 (Chain

Channel 1) which energizes Auxiliary Output 2 which in turn energizes the door bell chime

relay. The relay will turn off after one second.

2) Channel 1 also energizes the on-board relay (Auxiliary Output 8) and then Auxiliary Output 1.

The ground signal from Auxiliary Output 1 is now available at the normally closed (NC) con-

tacts of the on-board relay. This signal will pass through to Zone 2 (Guest At Door) when the

on-board relay is returned to its normally closed position after two seconds and the system will

speak Guest at Door.

This application can be used when there are multiple doorbells (front

door, side door, back door) and the end user would like to know exactly

which doorbell was pressed.
