System Sequence of Events

When motion is detected during a specific time of day period the system will turn on a light

and turn it off after a programmed countdown time. If motion is detected again within the

timed turn-off period then the light will remain on and the countdown will restart.

1) When motion is detected Zone 1 will be activated and the system will speak Motion

Detected.

2) Auxiliary Output pin 1(control channel 34) is linked to Zone 1 and will provide a ground

signal to the normally open contact of the on-board relay (Auxiliary Output 8, Control

Channel 33) whenever Zone 1 is activated.

3) The on-board relay will energize every day during a specified time period and this will

allow the ground signal from Auxiliary Output pin 1 to activate Zone 2.

4) The X-10 light (Control Channel 35) is linked to Zone 2 and will turn on whenever Zone 2

is activated and remain on until the programmed countdown time is over. If Zone 2 is

activated again within the countdown time the light will remain on and the countdown will

restart.
